THE ROLE

Job Purpose

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, contacting potential customers, presenting our products or services, and closing sales deals. You will play a key role in increasing revenue by meeting and exceeding sales targets

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve sales targets and implement agreed sales action plans.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Promote the full range of company products and services.
  • Conduct regular customer visits using a high-frequency call strategy.
  • Identify customer needs and offer competitive solutions.
  • Coordinate tyre testing, surveys, and breakdown support in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Handle customer complaints and claims effectively and professionally.
  • Follow up with customers on retreads, surveys, and scrap reports.
  • Maintain strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Administration & Reporting

  • Ensure accurate invoicing, signed delivery documents, and daily banking.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer files, vehicle records, and client lists.
  • Compile and review survey action reports and external service reports.

Health, Safety & Security

  • Adhere to and enforce health and safety standards.
  • Ensure safe handling, transport, and storage of goods.
  • Maintain company vehicles and equipment in safe, clean, and working condition.

Asset Management

  • Ensure safe custody and security of tyres and related assets.
  • Report damaged or worn equipment for replacement.

Market Awareness & Customer Retention

  • Monitor market trends and competitor offerings.
  • Make regular offers to attract and retain customers.

General Duties

  • Carry out all reasonable instructions related to the role.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education, Master, other certification:
  • Code 8 driver’s license
Experience (years):
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
Languages

Skills:

  • Any local language
Soft/Behavioral

  • Time management
  • Report writing skills.
