About the PositionThe Business Consultant is responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities across the territory. This role involves aggressive prospecting, owning the entire sales cycle, negotiating pricing, closing agreements, maintaining the sales pipeline and forecasting, and meeting sales goals set by leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Proactively generate new business opportunities within the designated territory.
- Continuously expand knowledge of industry trends, new products, services, and broker practices.
- Conduct thorough analysis, planning, and implementation of products and services tailored to client needs.
- Stay informed about competitor initiatives and analyze potential threats.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of services for assigned clients.
- Schedule and conduct regular meetings with clients during implementation.
- Collect and analyze data to provide strategic guidance on products, services, marketing, sales, and other business areas.
- Prepare concise executive summaries for presentations.
- Develop lead generation strategies and use Salesforce to track activities.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
- Complete and submit accurate business paperwork, expense reports, and activity reports on time.
- Participate in monthly consulting meetings and provide coaching to team members.
- Frequent domestic travel required for meetings, conferences, and training.
- Build and maintain relationships across disciplines and company teams.
- Attend webinars and training sessions to stay current on best practices.
- Complete additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
- Proactive, highly motivated with a focus on new business goals.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
- Understanding and execution of sales methodologies.
- Knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce.

- Minimum two years of sales experience.

- Valid, non‑restrictive driver’s license required for travel.
