Job Summary

The Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager leads category and supplier negotiations, manages vendor relationships, and drives cost savings for Health Trust’s GPO members. The role includes contract development, compliance, and collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.

Major Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across client programs.
  • Negotiate a portfolio of $100‑$200 M in spend, focusing on medium‑to‑high complexity categories.
  • Conduct market research and stay current on industry trends.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance and cost effectiveness.
  • Oversee contract development, execution, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
  • Track and report key performance indicators for sourcing and supplier activities.
  • Coordinate bulk‑buy programs and project accounting teams.
  • Prepare RFI/RFP, evaluate suppliers, and launch contracts.
  • Present category strategies to advisory boards and senior leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar certification preferred.
