Senior Purchased Services Analyst | Transforming Data into Strategic Decisions for Healthcare Sourcing
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Contract Directors and Managers to deliver tailored financial and contractual analyses for sourcing projects.
- Prepare RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal) documents.
- Conduct accurate and timely financial analysis of vendor pricing proposals.
- Review and audit baseline reports and savings analyses; escalate discrepancies prior to submission.
- Manage external member collaboration platforms and ensure timely updates.
- Analyze member contracts, spend, and volume data to develop comprehensive project workbooks and financial impact reports.
- Maintain sourcing project trackers to monitor timelines, utilization, and compliance.
- Draft contract amendments, extensions, and member-specific agreements under guidance.
- Mentor junior analysts and support team capability building.
- Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency.
- Coordinate member dashboard calls, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Manage Analyst project tracker and ensure quality standards for deliverables.
- Support Directors and Managers with customer service follow-up and resolution.
- Lead training for new analysts.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in healthcare contracting
- Technical
Skills:
Intermediate to advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data visualization) - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
