The Inventory Coordinator will maintain optimal inventory levels, ensure materials and components are available to support production schedules, and manage purchasing activities for assigned commodities or vendors.

KeyAccountabilities
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to support production demands while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
- Perform regular cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records in the ERP/MRP system.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and quality teams to track material usage and availability.
- Generate inventory reports and analyze trends to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory turnover.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
- Issue purchase orders, confirm order acknowledgments, and follow up on delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate supplier and inventory data in ERP/BTM systems.
- Assist in developing and maintaining reorder points, lead times, and safety stock parameters.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
- Support lean manufacturing and just-in-time (JIT) initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align materials planning with production and sales forecasts.
- Partner with Quality and Purchasing departments to onboard new suppliers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year purchasing and ERP experience.
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
- Up to 184 hours of PTO in the first year.
- Up to 72 hours of Sick Time in the first year.
