Addison Group is partnering with one of our clients to hire a Demand Planner. Our client is a growing organization that values data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration to support inventory optimization and sales performance.

Job Description

The Demand Planner will support inventory planning and sales strategy by analyzing historical sales data, seasonality, and demand trends. This role works closely with inventory planning leadership and internal teams to provide insights that help balance inventory levels, support forecasting, and align supply with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and analyze daily and weekly sales performance across products, customers, and channels
  • Prepare sales and inventory reports that provide actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Monitor inventory levels across locations and identify potential risks related to overstock or shortages
  • Support demand forecasting updates based on sales trends and market feedback
  • Assist with inventory planning decisions, including aging inventory and product transitions
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Purchasing teams to ensure alignment
  • Maintain data accuracy within ERP and reporting systems
  • Build and enhance Excel and BI dashboards to improve reporting efficiency
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in inventory planning, demand planning, data analysis, or similar roles
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, inventory planning, or a related field preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas
  • Experience with ERP systems;
    Net Suite experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage large data sets
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Full-time, exempt position
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 3 days onsite
  • May involve occasional light lifting and general office movement
  • This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k).
