Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Manager at Tire Discounters, Inc., located in Nashville, TN. The Service Manager will oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring customer satisfaction while managing the performance and development of the service team. They will be responsible for scheduling, workflow management, quality control, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

The role also involves resolving customer issues, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with other team members to achieve business targets.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership, team management, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in automotive service, repair techniques, and familiarity with ASE certification processes
  • Strong customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage scheduling, work management, and adherence to compliance standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in automotive technology or related field is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass required background checks
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including scheduling and communication tools
  • Knowledge of electric vehicle services is highly desirable
