Singer Equipment Company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Administrator
to support local administrative operations while partnering with our corporate accounting and finance teams. This role is responsible for handling purchase orders, receiving, pay requests, and general administrative duties, along with assisting in accounting and finance-related functions.
- Perform general administrative duties to support daily office operations; opening/ closing cash drawer, generation of end of day reports, etc.
- Track, and confirm acknowledgments for purchase orders (POs)
- Receive products and services in the system and ensure proper documentation
- Answer and route phone calls
- Assisting customer with sales inquiries and new account set up
- Support accounting and finance activities in coordination with the corporate team
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as needed
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation (electronic and manual)
- Communicate with vendors, internal departments, and corporate contacts regarding discrepancies or questions
- Support month-end and periodic reporting processes as assigned
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma required;
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred - Previous administrative or accounting support experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday, standard business hours
- Flexibility to adjust schedule based on business needs
