Primary Responsibilities: This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic campus environment while supporting essential services that impact the entire Belmont community. We have the flexibility to tailor the experience to the successful candidate's interests and can be flexible with hours. Primary responsibilities include:
Marketing Support- Assist in developing and designing marketing materials to promote services provided by Auxiliary Services, including Dining, Vending, Bruin Shop, Bruin Books, and the Mail Center.
- Tailor marketing content to various audiences, including students, parents, prospective students, and faculty/staff.
- Provide general clerical assistance to support the daily operations of Auxiliary Services.
- Manage general inquiries by responding to emails, answering phones, and providing necessary information.
- Assist with testing and updating the Bruin Eats mobile ordering platform.
- Regularly check vending machine operations across campus.
- Report any service issues and track their resolution in coordination with vending service providers.
- Provide additional support to Auxiliary Services as needed, including special projects and other duties assigned by supervisors.
- Flexibility to take on tasks that arise, ensuring the smooth operations of Auxiliary Services.
- Applicants must have FWS award to be considered.
- Experience with Canva is preferred but not required.
- Student must be willing to utilize Microsoft Teams for daily communication and work assignment/reporting.
- Student must have exceptional communication skills, high attention to detail, willingness to think creatively and work to a solution, and be motivated to provide outstanding customer service.
- Students must be able to work a minimum of 8 hours a week, 10 hours per week preferred.
Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University.
Required ExperienceNo experience required, but preference will be given to students interested in graphic design and marketing.
