Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Brentwood, TN
Job Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $55k-60k

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to support key receivables functions, work closely with internal teams, and play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, organization, and working in a collaborative accounting environment.
What You’ll Be Doing- Process and post accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Record cash receipts, wires, and electronic payments within the accounting system.
- Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies to ensure accurate balances.
- Assist with billing updates and adjustments as needed.
- Monitor incoming payments and verify bank deposits.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Support internal and external audit requests by gathering required documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounts receivable processes and workflows.
- Handle sensitive financial information with a high level of confidentiality.
- Assist with additional accounting or administrative projects as assigned.
- 2+ years of accounts receivable, accounting support, or related experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy and organization
- Self-motivated and driven, with a strong work ethic
- Eager to learn and grow within an accounting or finance environment
- Comfortable taking initiative and solving issues independently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred
