Sr. Accountant

Senior Accountant supports day-to-day accounting operations by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close. This role requires experience in accounts reconciliation to ensure all balances are accurate and issues are resolved promptly. The position also helps improve processes, supports audits, and may guide junior team members. Strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to handle both routine and more complex accounting tasks are essential.

• Reconciles balance sheet and income statement accounts to the general ledger and sub-ledger.
• Prepares bank reconciliations
• Manage month-end close activities, meeting deadlines
• Prepares and enters journal entries into the general ledger.
• Assist with year-end audit, including balance sheet reconciliation.
• Reconcile GL accounts for the month, quarterly, and year-end.
• Prepare month-end and year-end accruals.
• Responsible for preparing timely ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for insurance, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Participate in and support cleaning data projects involving aged items, ensuring accurate system records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• 2-3 years in similar roles and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Experience with ERP/ Accounting Systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Salary: $75,000 to $85,000
