Accounting Manager

Overview

We’re partnering with a reputable construction company in Nashville that’s known for quality, integrity, and a strong people-first culture. As the company continues to grow, they’re adding an Accounting Supervisor to handle ownership of project accounting while working closely with leadership.

This is a highly visible role for someone who wants autonomy, trust, and real influence in a culture first environment.

• Full-cycle accounting for individual construction projects (each home tracked as its own project)
• Corporate accounting support for the main operating entity
• AP/AR, customer billing, deposits, and vendor payments
• Bank and credit card reconciliations and monthly close support
• Job cost tracking and maintaining clean, accurate project financials
• Supporting leadership with visibility into cash flow, overhead, and project performance
• Helping improve systems, processes, and software workflows as the business scales

• Bachelors degree OR experience in related field
• Experience in construction, real estate, development, or project-based accounting
• Comfortable working in-office with a collaborative team
• Strong attention to detail, discretion, and ownership mentality
• Systems-oriented and adaptable to new tools and processes
• History of longevity and commitment (not a short-term role)

• Quick Books or similar accounting software
• Exposure to forecasting, projections, or supporting growth initiatives
