Our client, a major Business Management firm, represents clients in the entertainment industry for accounting and tax services. The culture offers a laid-back atmosphere, and the team has a "work hard, have fun" motto. Hybrid after 90 day training period.

• Accounts payable for multiple entities
• Manage payroll through Paychex
• Prepare deposits and manage accounts receivable
• Maintain general ledgers for multiple clients
• Calculate monthly commissions
• Prepare sales tax returns and business tax returns
• Prepare 1099s and manage W-2 preparation
• Prepare tax work papers for the tax department

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting
• 2+ years of general ledger experience including accounts payable and journal entries is required
• 2+ years of preparing sales tax, payroll tax, and business tax returns and 1099s
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and prioritize workload

Experience with financial statements and income tax exposure is a plus. Music industry experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of insurance and merchandise accounting is also a plus.
