The Bookkeeper position is a contract-to-hire opportunity with an in-office schedule.
Position DetailsThe Bookkeeper position is a contract-to-hire opportunity with an in-office schedule.
Responsibilities- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping
- General ledger accounting including AP, AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Accounts payable including creating new vendors, processing invoices, managing expense reports, and reconciling credit cards
- Accounts receivable including posting payments and collections
- Assisting with business operations
- Posting balance sheet entries
- Assisting with developing and implementing new accounting procedures
- Managing the employee benefits enrollment process
- Tracking PTO
- Assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding
- Ensuring accurate financial reporting
- 2+ years of accounting experience in AP, AR, and journal entries
- Bachelor's degree required
- Entertainment industry experience is a plus
- Exposure to HR duties is ideal (benefits, onboarding, PTO, etc.)
- Experience working within a small organization is ideal
- Experience using Quick Books Online & Paychex is ideal
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong Excel skills required
