We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join a growing Nashville-based team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering hands-on accounting experience, mentorship, and long-term growth potential within the organization.
Responsibilities:- Assist with daily accounting operations, including A/P and A/R processing
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Support month-end close activities
- Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance
- Review invoices for accuracy and proper coding
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding discrepancies
- Provide support during audits and assist with documentation requests
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0–2 years of accounting experience (internships accepted)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Great entry point into an established accounting team
