We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the firm’s bookkeeping and accounting services. This full-time role works closely with the Partner, Senior Manager, Managers, Senior Accountants, and Staff Accountants to ensure high-quality financial reporting and client service across a diverse client base, from small startups to established businesses.
Responsibilities- Managing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Supervising and mentoring bookkeeping staff
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Collaborating with tax and audit teams to support client engagements
- Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books experience preferred)
- Onboarding new accounting clients and handling any pre-existing issues
- Conversing with clients and providing business consulting as needed
- Closing books for tax preparation and audit purposes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field) required
- Minimum of 4+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Prior management or supervisory experience preferred
- CPA license in the State of Tennessee is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Full-time position
- 40 hours per week (up to 45 hours during busy season)
