About the OpportunityWe are partnering with a fast growing, private equity backed healthcare organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This is a high impact role designed for someone who thrives in a hands on environment, enjoys improving processes, and wants meaningful exposure in a business preparing for its next phase of growth.
This position is very hybrid, offering substantial flexibility while requiring proximity to the Nashville area for collaboration and key in person touchpoints.

- Opportunity to own key components of the month end close

- Own assigned areas of the monthly close process, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and key control accounts
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting schedules
- Support payroll processing, expense reporting, and credit card reconciliations
- Review accounts payable documentation for accuracy, approvals, and policy compliance
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances
- Partner cross functionally with Operations, HR, and leadership
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes
- Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives related to growth and reporting readiness
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and reconciliation best practices
- Comfortable working independently in a flexible, hybrid environment
- Proven self starter with strong communication skills
- Ability to take ownership and drive improvements with minimal oversight
- Experience in healthcare and or private equity backed organizations
- Net Suite or comparable ERP experience
- Public accounting background a plus
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA preferred
- Experience in high growth or evolving environments
