Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join a growing Nashville-based organization. This position is ideal for someone with strong full-cycle accounting experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a lean, fast-moving accounting team.

You will play a key role in the month-end close process, reporting, reconciliations, and overall financial accuracy for the organization.

• Perform monthly close activities
  , including journal entries, accruals, and detailed account reconciliations
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Process and review AP/AR transactions as needed to support daily operations
• Assist with preparing financial statements and management reporting packages
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
• Support internal and external audit preparation
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Help strengthen internal controls and contribute to continuous process improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure correct accounting treatment and timely issue resolution

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Net Suite, Sage, Oracle, or similar)
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and ownership of assigned tasks
• Salary range $70,000–$80,000+ depending on experience
