Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager
Amazon is a fast paced, dynamic, high-tech company. The LATAM Stores Accounting organization supports our financial reporting, internal control, and supports new business launches for Amazon in the consumer products, initiatives, merchant, operations, logistics and payments. We are currently looking for a junior level candidate to help support the business growth in Amazon’s LATAM accounting organization, at Mexico City office. Ideal candidates would have a background in public accounting firm or private companies, and accomplish unusually complex challenges is also expected.

Keyresponsibilities
- Support the LATAM Stores Accounting team to oversee all parts of financial accounting and reporting functions, reporting to a manager.
- Understand internal control design concepts sufficient to assess the effectiveness of controls in their area.
- Influence the design of systems, processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities.
- Perform technical accounting research and prepare technical memos as required.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 4+ years of Fortune 500 operational accounting experience
- Experience in accounting, compliance or auditing in countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica or Panama
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- CPA
- Experience in Big Four - auditing/accounting
