Experienced NP Opportunity | Complex Diabetes Care | Thriving Endocrinology Practice

St. Joseph Hospital’s established and high-demand Endocrinology practice is seeking an experienced, independent Nurse Practitioner to join our collegial, mission-driven team. This is a full-time, primarily outpatient opportunity located on our main campus, caring for a growing panel of patients with complex endocrine needs.

With an exceptionally long wait list—now booking into August 2026—we are looking for a skilled and confident NP who can step in and make an immediate impact.

This is an opportunity to work at the top of your scope with a practice known for handling complex, challenging cases, including:

  • Advanced and brittle diabetic patients
  • Patients on insulin pumps
    —including those who struggle with the technology
  • Older adults needing hands-on support to manage apps, devices, and dosing adjustments
  • High-acuity patients requiring frequent follow-up visits
  • A shared call schedule with strong collegial support

You will be joining a practice that values independent clinical judgment while maintaining a collaborative team approach.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Experienced Nurse Practitioner (Endocrinology experience required)
  • Ability to independently manage complex diabetes care
  • Strong troubleshooting and coaching skills for patients using insulin pump technology
  • Comfort working with older adults and patients requiring more hands-on support
  • Excellent communication, organization, and patient-focused care
  • Team-oriented and enthusiastic about ongoing patient education
