Job Description Support movement of assemblies within the New Product Introduction line and Electronic Warfare Integrated Manufacturing Center. This production line is very dynamic based on the diverse program and assembly make-up of demand. Material - Coordinates the internal flow of material, kits, and manufactured hardware to ensure that required supplies support manufacturing schedules and Operations commitments on engineering and production programs.
Production - Supports the manufacturing process by performing kit release, material support, and documentation maintenance activities within production and engineering lab environments to ensure that required supplies support manufacturing schedules and Operations commitments on engineering and production programs Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Material Related Activities
* Support Material Planning personnel with processing Requests for Material and other material or service purchase requisition activity as directed.
* Responds to requests for material. Works from computerized reports, BOMS, engineering drawings, engineering change orders and verbal or written instruction to identify material requirements.
* Monitors material flow from order to delivery. Maintains and monitors production movements throughout the focus factories.
* Utilizes mainframe applications such as Oracle , Discoverer, SFW , PDM and TIPQA to perform daily tasks.
* Performs other duties and responsibilities as required. Production Related Activities
* Maintains job progress and status records and notifies supervisor of impending delays or serious difficulties, recommending proper corrective action to be taken.
* Responds to material shortages due to lost, damaged or defective material in order to prevent work stoppages in area of responsibility.
* Maintains accurate records and provides regular reports on the status of material to materials and program management.
* Ensures that engineering change orders affecting parts and material are incorporated into products by effective date.
* Performs more complex material related duties as directed by Material Planner and/or management personnel, including some of the duties associated with junior Material Planning personnel.
* Performs other duties and responsibilities as required. Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $47614 - $76181
