Join Crane Currency as an Operations Materials Handler in Nashua, NH and be part of a team where people matter, and innovation thrives. We have opportunities on 1st and 2nd shift (with a 15% shift differential for 2nd shift).

Shift Schedules

1st Shift: 6AM - 2PM (Mon-Fri) - training will take place during the regular shift.

Pay rate: $19/hr

2nd Shift: 2PM - 10PM (Mon-Fri) - training will take place during the regular shift.

Pay rate: $19/hr + 15% shift differential.

Please Note:

This position offers a unique opportunity to begin your career with Crane Currency. You will start in the role as an employee of a reliable staffing agency partner while your Public Trust clearance is being processed. Once your clearance is granted, training is successfully completed, and performance expectations are met, you will be considered for conversion to a position with Crane Currency.

How you will make an impact

The Material Handler plays a critical role in maintaining smooth production flow by ensuring operators have the materials, tools, and supplies they need without interruption. By handling non‑value‑added tasks such as replenishment and waste removal, this position allows production team members to focus on core value‑added activities. The role directly supports lean manufacturing principles by reducing downtime and eliminating waste. Effective performance in this position helps maintain takt time, improve efficiency, and enhance overall plant productivity.

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and components to designated workstations.
  • Remove scrap, packaging, and other waste from production areas to maintain cleanliness.
  • Replenish consumables such as fasteners, adhesives, and small tools as needed.
  • Respond promptly to kanban signals and maintain accurate material flow.
  • Assist in maintaining visual management systems for inventory and workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with production operators and supervisors regarding material needs.
  • Follow standard work procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to reduce waste.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory adjustments.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required or commensurate experience.
  • Warehouse or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

Preferred:

  • Basic understanding of lean principles and material flow (training provided).
