The hours for this role will be Fri, Sat & Sun from 10:00AM – 10:00 PM - 36-hour role, but paid for a full 40. Training for this role will take place on 1st shift (Mon-Fri) 6AM-2PM for up to the first 6 months.

The Production Shift Supervisor ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations during assigned shifts. This role drives team performance by monitoring production schedules, resolving issues, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The supervisor leads and develops frontline employees, fostering engagement and accountability to meet operational goals. By optimizing resources and minimizing downtime, they directly contribute to productivity, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

Their leadership is critical to sustaining continuous improvement and achieving overall plant performance targets.

• Manage all production activities during assigned shifts to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met.
• Track output, downtime, and resource utilization; take corrective actions to maintain schedule adherence.
• Enforce safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company standards for quality and environmental practices.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to build skills and maintain high engagement among shift employees.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process, and staffing challenges quickly to minimize disruptions.
• Complete shift reports, production logs, and incident records to support transparency and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and planning teams to align priorities and resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve processes, and enhance productivity within the shift.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels, approve timekeeping, and adjust assignments to meet production demands.

Required:

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or commensurate experience.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies; continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with ISO management systems, practices, and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and foster a safety-first culture in the workplace.
• High energy/ self-motivated/ a change agent.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate individual project activities within a larger project.
• Experience with MS Office, JDEdwards, and MES required.

Preferred:

• BS Degree or commensurate experience.
