An Electro Mechanical Assembler is responsible for building, testing, and troubleshooting assemblies that combine mechanical components with electrical wiring, circuits, and hardware. This role supports production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure products are built accurately, safely, and on schedule.

A Day in Life Typically Includes:
  • Assemble electromechanical components, subassemblies, and full systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Perform wiring, soldering, crimping, routing, and mechanical fastening.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and basic test equipment.
  • Inspect parts and assemblies for accuracy, quality, and proper fit.
  • Conduct functional tests and record results according to procedures.
  • Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues; elevate complex problems to engineering.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety, ESD, and quality control procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience with electromechanical assembly in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience working with hand tools, soldering equipment, and measurement devices with small components.
  • Experience working with codes and quality standards.
  • Experience working in a role involving electrical principles (voltage, continuity, polarity).
  • English reading and writing communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IPCA
    610 or JSTD
    001 certification.
  • Experience with cable harness assembly.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or 5S practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training.
