Part Time Maintenance Assistant

The Front Door Agency in Nashua, NH—a nonprofit supporting individuals and families on their path toward stability and independence—is seeking a dependable Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to support the Director of Maintenance with day-to-day property upkeep.

Assist with routine maintenance and repairs (painting, patching, light carpentry, minor plumbing/electrical), weekly cleaning of common areas, preventive maintenance, responding to work orders, preparing units for new tenants, and maintaining safe indoor and outdoor spaces. Must follow safety protocols, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional boundaries.

Experience in general maintenance or building repair; basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC; ability to use hand and power tools safely; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks. Experience in housing or nonprofit settings is a plus.

This is a part‑time hourly position between 20‑25 hrs/wk with flexible hours between the hours of 7:00am‑5:00pm Monday‑Friday. We look forward to reviewing your resume and brief cover letter.
