Base pay range$23.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Job Responsibilities- Works closely with the Facilities Manager & Senior Building Engineer in creating a working environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and Team Member satisfaction.
- Ensures efficient follow‑up on all work orders submitted by property management and keeps the Facilities Manager & Senior Building Engineer informed of anticipated delays in completing the requested work.
- Assists in the preparation of annual preventive maintenance schedules to ensure all property systems and equipment are serviced and maintained properly.
- Establishes positive working relationships with all vendors, fire, and safety officials.
- Performs maintenance tasks to support the entire facility.
- Stocks, tracks and maintains supplies and equipment.
- Plans, prioritizes, and assigns work by shift accounting for property volumes due to special events, promotions, and holidays.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Performs prescribed preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Reports any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates the ability and willingness to work in a fast‑paced and high‑volume environment.
- Provides excellent service to guests, greeting and interacting in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs, remaining calm and professional when dealing with difficult or upset guests.
- Works safely, following company safety policies and procedures, completing work safely, caring for self and others, responding appropriately in emergencies, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintains regular attendance at scheduled shift and staff meetings.
- Maintains professionalism and a friendly, approachable demeanor throughout the shift.
- Displays a friendly, calm, and helpful demeanor in high‑stress situations and a continuously fast‑paced environment.
- Complies with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Preferred knowledge: HVAC (boiler and chiller operation), refrigeration (walk‑in cooler and freezer maintenance), kitchen appliance repair, plumbing repair, building sprinkler system and electrical.
- Must pass all required pre‑screening and background checks.
- Internal candidates must meet eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including day, swing, late‑night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
- Must be able to work on‑call shifts.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license.
- Must be able to move in and around the work area throughout the entire workday.
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to repeat the same movements.
- Must be able to engage and interact with all guests appropriately and work well under the pressure of a fast‑paced environment.
- Must be able to successfully communicate on a regular basis with all co‑workers, vendors, and guests both in person and over the telephone.
- Must be able to answer all inquiries and provide assistance and information in a professional and accurate manner.
- Must be able to access and interpret information on computer screens.
Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work the entire property; tolerate changes in temperature and frequent use of maintenance supplies, cleaning, and sanitizing solutions. - Must be able to work in a smoke‑permitted environment, loud with guest chatter, overhead music, and live entertainment.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must possess the manual dexterity to operate a variety of cleaning equipment and tools requiring the ability to grab, grip, hold, pour, tear, cut, sort and reach.
- Requires ability to distinguish letters or symbols and good eye‑hand coordination.
