Take strategic ownership of Nashua Pty Ltd’s Supply Chain and Logistics Department. Be responsible for the end-to-end management of supply chain functions, including planning, forecasting, procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics operations across all product lines. Play an instrumental role in driving operational efficiency, supplier performance, and business continuity in alignment with the organisation’s growth strategy.
- Lead and manage all supply chain functions to ensure accurate forecasting, optimal stock levels, and timely procurement of goods.
- Oversee warehousing and logistics operations to ensure effective storage, handling, and distribution of products.
- Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound shipments to align with production schedules and customer requirements.
- Play a strategic role in supplier demand planning and relationship management across all product categories.
- Ensure accurate product costings and deliver regular operational and financial reports to support business decisions.
- Investigate and resolve supply chain, logistics, and warehousing variances in collaboration with the finance department.
- Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships to secure quality, continuity of supply, and cost efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes to enhance service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage, coach, and develop the supply chain support team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Optimise procurement, demand forecasting, shipping, and backorder processes.
- Manage inventory control, including stock ageing, provisioning, and write-offs.
- Oversee agent account administration and franchise order fulfilment, including invoicing, returns, and credit note processes.
- Deliver accurate and timely weekly/monthly operational and KPI reports to monitor performance and compliance.
- Ensure departmental controls and supplier KPIs are tracked and achieved consistently.
- Lead the annual budget process and monitor budget adherence across the Supply Chain and Warehousing teams.
- Streamline operational functions across the Supply Chain, Annuity, and Support teams to improve efficiency and collaboration.
- Enforce compliance with Delegation of Authority (DOA), JSE regulatory requirements, ISO standards, and internal controls.
- Manage workforce planning, resource optimisation, performance management, and staff development.
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or related fields.
- At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role within a medium-to-large organisation.
- Proven track record in inventory management, supplier relationship management, and logistics optimisation.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite) is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of compliance, risk management, and financial controls in a supply chain context.
