Supply Chain Planner ; Onsite

Position: Supply Chain Planner I (Full Onsite)
Job Description The Supply Chain Planner (SCP) is the focal point for all supply chain activities. This particular role will require the right candidate with the requisite amount of experience in problem solving planning issues in a highly dynamic and technical factory environment, gaining experience in backflush material management with automated equipment, as well as cycle counting and count reconciliation skills to ensure inventory is correct and that the assembly floor interruptions caused by stock outs is minimized as much as possible.

The planner supports execution of programs and coordination of new program / product launches, as well as ad hoc reporting, to include supporting schedule recovery activities when necessary to achieve our customer needs. SCP assists with reporting of key performance indicators, performance data, and miscellaneous metrics with suggestions for process improvements and robust data reporting/action. The Supply Chain Planner will identify and escalate issues as necessary to the proper channels.

SCP will plan, prepare, issue and control material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule. Planner will support risk management activities impacting the value chain working with cross-functional teams. The planner ensures that shipments are accomplished to maintain contract/internal delivery commitments. SCP will utilize MRP system and process tools to achieve program / functional goals.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time 4/10. Position does have flexibility to be a Hybrid schedule or 9/80 vs 4/10 with manager approvals.

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status and ability to obtain a secret level clearance.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning systems and processes
• Ability to verbally and accurately report production status to program team or factory team.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Supply Chain or related field Preferred
• Prior factory/manufacturing experience

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $50153 - $85251
