Job Summary
Harbor Care is seeking a Recovery Support Worker to provide guidance, assistance and supportive services to individuals and families who are experiencing co-occurring (mental health and substance use disorders) issues. The successful candidate will be familiar with recovery-oriented systems of care. This position is full-time for 3rd shift (11pm-7am).

Basic Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Recovery Support Worker Certification (eligible or in process within one-year of employment)
- Required Minimum of 1-year experience in a related field such as Mental Health or Substance Use Disorders
- Ability to pass Medicine Administration Training
- Computer skills, including proficient typing skills
- Valid Driver's license.
- Two-years or more of college-level coursework or post-secondary school certifications in applicable field
- Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW)
- Experience working in a residential substance-use treatment facility
- Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR);
Athena Practice preferred - Candidate should possess sound judgment and excellent boundary skills.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of major mental illnesses and appropriate treatment interventions
- Knowledge, understanding and application of appropriate treatment interventions and ethical standards
Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act - Knowledge of 12-core functions

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Exhibits decision making and crisis management skills
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skills

- Experience and supportive of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Recovery Oriented Systems of Care, Medication Assisted Treatment and community recovery support programs
- Physical requirements include ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction; pick, pinch, type or otherwise work primarily with fingers
