Position Summary

Mechanical Integrity Engineer Intern – 2026 Summer Internship Program. The position will be located in Nashua, NH.

Responsibilities

This role supports the Mechanical Integrity group. Job functions include assisting in mechanical testing of electrical connectors and components, processing and analysis of testing results, and assistance in the development of fixtures used in testing.

What You'll Do
  • Support the product design effort in mechanical analysis such as tolerance analysis, FEA, materials analysis, failure analysis, and creating test plans.
  • Machining and fixture design.
  • Work closely with internal and external suppliers and manufacturing personnel.
  • Supporting the development and validation of product prototypes.
  • Interfacing with customers and other engineering disciplines in the design and manufacturing process of interconnect products.
Qualifications
  • Candidate should be at least a sophomore in Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering programs.
  • Proficiency in Pro‑E or Solid Works.
  • Experience with machining and fixture design is a plus.
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis tools desirable.
  • Ability to communicate with technical & non‑technical people.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
