The Tactical Air (Tac Air) product line has an opening for a Principal Contract Administrator in support of the Japan Super Interceptor (JSI) EPAWSS V2 program and its development growth activities.
This position will support the development phases and production phases of this first leverage program concurrently. Individual will have the exciting opportunity to provide cradle to grave contract support from proposal development to contract closeout. You will represent the enterprise as the prime contact on contractual matters and be responsible for managing customer relationships, creating innovative solutions, negotiating contracts and other agreements such as non-disclosure agreements. In this role, you will interact with senior internal and external personnel on matters requiring coordination to successfully execute and deliver on our commitments.
The successful candidate will lead all contracting activities with minimal supervision. This position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, legal and customer requirements with limited guidance or supervision. The successful candidate will need to interpret and communicate business commitments and alternatives to the program team and management. This position requires an extensive knowledge of government contracting methods, applicable laws and regulations and the ability to develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with a variety of internal and external customers.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
* Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
* Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
* Ability to obtain and main a US DOD SECRET level clearance
* Experience with the large, complex RFPs and proposal development at BAE Systems.
* Experience managing various USG and prime contract customers
* FAR/DFAR knowledge and experience
* Experience with agreements other than contracts (ex. NDAs, bailment agreements, and/or software license agreements)
* Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member
* Sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, leadership, and customers
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Active Secret clearance Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $101398 - $172377

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
