Position: Signal Integrity Lab Technician (Mon-Fri 3pm to 11:30pm)

Signal Integrity Lab Technician (Mon‑Fri 3 pm‑11:30 pm)

Join Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) as a Signal Integrity Lab Technician in Nashua, New Hampshire.

This full‑time position supports our high‑speed products group and requires measuring devices under test to ensure they meet specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Work in the Signal Integrity Laboratory to ensure electrical specifications of manufactured passive DUTs are met.
  • Assist with frequency (S‑Parameter) and time‑domain (TDR, BERT) measurements for new product and sustaining engineering and operations.
  • Perform electrical measurements with a 4‑wire meter, oscilloscope, and function generator.
  • Conduct repeatable measurements for experiments and characterizations.
  • Perform repeatable cycle or stress measurements using mechanical fixtures or obtain mechanical parameters.
  • Accurately record, store, and process data in Excel, create graphs, and prepare reports in PowerPoint.
  • Maintain a Laboratory Notebook of all work and experiments performed.
  • Interact as needed with manufacturing and engineering teams.
  • Display caution around highly sensitive equipment and perform work with consistency and precision.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1–2 years of postsecondary education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • Strong geometric, numerical, and statistical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret geometric drawings, schematics, and block diagrams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong accuracy and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Repeatedly connect and disconnect threaded cable connectors by hand, requiring precision torque or static wrenches.
  • Position is largely sedentary; use benchtop instruments and computers.
