Signal Integrity Lab Technician (Mon‑Fri 3 pm‑11:30 pm)
Join Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) as a Signal Integrity Lab Technician in Nashua, New Hampshire.
This full‑time position supports our high‑speed products group and requires measuring devices under test to ensure they meet specifications.
Responsibilities- Work in the Signal Integrity Laboratory to ensure electrical specifications of manufactured passive DUTs are met.
- Assist with frequency (S‑Parameter) and time‑domain (TDR, BERT) measurements for new product and sustaining engineering and operations.
- Perform electrical measurements with a 4‑wire meter, oscilloscope, and function generator.
- Conduct repeatable measurements for experiments and characterizations.
- Perform repeatable cycle or stress measurements using mechanical fixtures or obtain mechanical parameters.
- Accurately record, store, and process data in Excel, create graphs, and prepare reports in PowerPoint.
- Maintain a Laboratory Notebook of all work and experiments performed.
- Interact as needed with manufacturing and engineering teams.
- Display caution around highly sensitive equipment and perform work with consistency and precision.
- Minimum 1–2 years of postsecondary education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Strong geometric, numerical, and statistical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret geometric drawings, schematics, and block diagrams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong accuracy and organizational skills.
- Repeatedly connect and disconnect threaded cable connectors by hand, requiring precision torque or static wrenches.
- Position is largely sedentary; use benchtop instruments and computers.
