Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ‘Project Superintendent’ to lead onsite operations for an upcoming commercial construction project. This is a long-term opportunity for a highly organized, hands-on leader who knows how to keep crews moving, subcontractors aligned, and quality standards high. If you’re confident running complex builds from the ground up—working in fast-paced commercial environments and coordinating multiple trades—you’ll thrive in this role.

- Field Leadership & Supervision:
Lead all onsite construction activities and ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. - Field Leadership & Supervision:
Foster a positive, respectful job-site environment among subcontractors, vendors, and team members. - Field Leadership & Supervision:
Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for project teams, inspectors, and stakeholders.
- Schedule & Progress Management:
Develop and maintain short-term lookahead schedules in alignment with the overall project timeline. - Schedule & Progress Management:
Monitor progress, proactively identify delays or issues, and implement recovery strategies. - Schedule & Progress Management:
Coordinate inspections and ensure adherence to all code, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Quality & Compliance:
Ensure all work meets design intent, quality standards, and technical specifications. - Quality & Compliance:
Review shop drawings, submittals, and field conditions to resolve constructability issues. - Quality & Compliance:
Maintain cleanliness and organization across the jobsite in line with safety and performance standards.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination:
Review scopes of work and hold subcontractors accountable to performance expectations and project deliverables. - Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination:
Conduct regular coordination meetings to align teams and resolve conflicts early. - Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination:
Verify completion of work for progress billings and punch list sign-offs.
- Communication & Documentation:
Maintain accurate daily field reports, logs, and jobsite documentation. - Communication & Documentation:
Work closely with the Project Manager to communicate progress, budget implications, and manpower needs. - Communication & Documentation:
Support project close-out by leading punch list efforts, coordinating inspections, and collecting as-built information.
- 3–5+ years of superintendent or construction management experience in commercial building projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction documents, scopes of work, and subcontractor coordination.
- Ability to manage project schedules and field operations with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with logistics and inspections on multi-trade commercial sites.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience using or willingness to learn platforms like Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Project.
- Experience with complex interior buildouts (cafes, kitchens, or food service areas) or high-traffic commercial facilities is a plus.
