Materials Engineer
Essential Functions:
* Execute experimental plans to support technology and product development projects
* Perform material characterization testing
* Follow procedures and best practices while operating equipment and handling chemicals to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others
* Clearly and concisely document trial results and observations
* Other duties as assigned
* High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of engineering or technical experience. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
* Excels in cross-functional collaborative work environment
* Hands-on material testing experience, and willingness to learn and apply new test methods
* Experience using computer and analysis tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Lifting up to 15lbs consistently, climbing ladders, and moving 50-gallon drums and 50-lb containers of material with assistance (ex: operating a lift cart / pallet jack)
