LPN School Nursing Services- Per Diem

Qualifications: A Licensed Practical Nurse performs a wide variety of patient care activities and comfort measures for assigned hospital patients in the acute, ambulatory and school nurse settings. This position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing practice and for managing supplies and equipment with the direction of the provider, department manager or RN in charge. The LPN will promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.

The LPN will follow orders for care and treatment of the patient and will adhere to the policies and procedures of Henry County Hospital.

Requirements: It is required that the applicant has a BLS and ECS LPN-CPI certifications, is a graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nurses, and is currently licensed in the State of Ohio. It is preferred that the applicant has IV certification, ECS LPN, ACLS, and PALS certifications. It is also preferred that the applicant has previous experience as an LPN in a hospital or ambulatory setting.
