As a Security Officer - Distribution Site in Miami, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional at a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and stay highly visible to help deter security‑related incidents. You will document observations, respond to questions and/or concerns, and deliver strong customer service while supporting site operations.

Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM;
Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM;
Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM;
Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM.

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following Allied Universal post orders, security‑related procedures, and site‑specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouses, loading dock areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards such as unsecured doors or damaged fencing.
• Monitor access points for employees, drivers, and visitors; verify identification and/or delivery information as required and direct traffic and pedestrian flow in busy shipping and receiving areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including dispatching assistance, documenting observations, and coordinating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on patrol activity, access control actions, and incident response; communicate status updates to the site team and Allied Universal supervision.

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
