Position Overview
Goodwill of Southwest Florida is committed to serving people with disabilities and disadvantages by offering life‑changing opportunities to achieve independence. The Donation Door Attendant is a front line position representing Goodwill Industries to the public.
Responsibilities
- Receive, record, sort donations and process them through the Kaizen system.
- Adhere to Kaizen guidelines and principles as outlined in audits and 5‑minute drills.
- Perform processing, cleaning, customer service, building fixtures/equipment, and other duties instructed by immediate supervisors.
Required Experience
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in retail and/or stock handling preferred.
Required Skills
- Mobility sufficient to turn from side to side, kneel or bend, and stand for long periods.
- Ability to see and recognize colors.
- Basic math skills.
- Lift at least forty (40) pounds frequently; occasionally stack or team lift up to one hundred (100) pounds.
- May work in varying temperature and climate conditions.

Salary: $15.00 per hour
