As a Delivery Driver, you’ll put your safe driving skills to work in an energizing culture rooted in people and a commitment to delivering WOW! Customer Service. No commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required, and you’ll use company‑provided vehicles. Auto Zone offers career stability and growth opportunities in an essential industry.
Responsibilities- Customer Service Excellence & Communication – Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice, and offering installation services.
- Leadership & Teamwork – Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth collaboration and strong customer relationships.
- Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain efficient delivery operations and meet time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
- Delivery Operations – Drive company‑provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
- Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
- Safety Compliance – Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
- Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
- Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through Auto Zone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.
- Minimum Age Requirement:
Must be at least 18 years old. - Valid Driver’s License & Safety Compliance.
- Basic automotive parts knowledge.
- Physical Ability:
Must lift and deliver merchandise.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Previous automotive retail experience.
- A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement is a plus.
