Description
As a Food Runner, you’ll be responsible for opening and closing procedures, table service, food prep, cleaning, cash handling and inventory.
Responsibilities- Take orders and deliver food and drinks, answer questions regarding menu and drink selections.
- Work closely with wait, bar staff and kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently.
- Prepare restaurant for lunch/dining by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils.
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the bar area, replacing kegs.
- Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Other duties as required.
- GED or High School Diploma.
- At least 1 year kitchen experience.
- Excellent verbal communication skills required.
- Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures.
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
- Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
Schedule – Varies – Days, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays, Open Availability
Compensation: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
