Quality Manager

In this role you will lead the facility’s quality function, ensuring compliance with company standards and all applicable U.S. government regulations. This role is responsible for driving quality performance, maintaining effective quality systems, and achieving facility quality objectives. The position partners cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, sales/marketing, customers, and suppliers, and oversees the Quality Department. Reports to the Division Quality Manager and Business Unit Manager(s).

• Lead and manage all site quality operations to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Define and deploy quality requirements across all functions to support effective planning and compliance verification.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and coordinate Total Quality Management (TQM) efforts across business units.
• Develop, implement, and audit quality management systems to ensure alignment with ISO 9000 and customer requirements.
• Serve as the primary quality liaison for internal teams, customers, and suppliers, providing technical guidance and issue resolution.
• Oversee supplier quality programs, including audits, performance monitoring, and corrective action management.
• Implement and leverage automated systems to enhance quality planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Promote operational excellence in customer satisfaction, throughput, cost reduction, and productivity.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the Quality team to foster engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of progressive professional experience in quality, manufacturing, or related environments.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience, including team management or major project leadership.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, information systems, and general business practices.
• Experience with ISO 9000 standards; professional certifications (e.g., APICS or similar) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results, build high-performing teams, and lead positive organizational change.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
