LocationThe Glenview at Pelican Bay is a premier continuing care retirement community located in beautiful, sunny Naples, Florida.
PositionLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Hospitality Focused.
Shifts AvailablePRN
Responsibilities- Consult with the resident’s physician regarding care, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Review the resident’s chart for treatments, medication orders, diets, etc.
- Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feedings, suction, dressing/bandage changes, colostomy care, drainage bags, and blood draws.
- Take and record TPRs, blood pressures, etc.
- Requisition and arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services as ordered by the physician following established procedures.
- Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning shift activities.
- Participate in developing, maintaining, and implementing the facility’s quality assurance program for nursing services.
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
- Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon admission, transfer, or discharge.
- Transcribe physician’s orders to resident charts, cardex, medication cards, treatment/care plans.
Florida State Licensed Practical Nurse License and CPR Certification. Must pass an extensive criminal background check and drug screen. Vaccination status may be requested for MMR, chickenpox, hepatitis, flu, and COVID-19.
