This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Senior Gifts Officer based in Naples, FL. The Senior Gifts Officer will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors to secure major gifts. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with donors, creating strategies for major gift development, tracking donor engagement, preparing proposals and reports, hosting donor events, and collaborating with other team members to achieve fundraising goals.

The role is focused on advancing Avow’s mission through meaningful donor engagement and philanthropic partnerships.

• Strong skills in donor cultivation, major gift solicitation, and relationship building
• Experience in strategic fundraising planning, proposal development, and stewardship practices
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and public speaking abilities
• Proficiency in fundraising CRM software, data analysis, and record‑keeping
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple donor relationships and deadlines
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when necessary
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field
• Previous experience in a fundraising or development role, preferably in healthcare or nonprofit sectors
• Familiarity with the Naples, FL philanthropic community is a plus
