We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with a strong background in medical malpractice defense to join a growing litigation team in Naples, Florida. This role is ideal for an attorney who can independently manage files and handle matters from Notice of Intent (NOI) through discovery
.
- Handle medical malpractice defense matters from NOI through discovery
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal correspondence
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Manage assigned cases independently with minimal supervision
- Conduct legal research and prepare well-reasoned legal arguments
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
- Ensure strict attention to deadlines, compliance, and case strategy
- 2.5–5 years of medical malpractice defense experience
- Strong experience in discovery and depositions
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
