About the RoleThe Housekeeping Coordinator manages all guest service requests, coordinates housekeeping operations, and ensures seamless delivery of room and service standards.
Responsibilities- Open the department each morning, print reports, read handover notes, and create daily work assignments for Room Attendants and Turndown Attendants.
- Issue daily work assignments, trace, and event reports to all front and housekeeping staff.
- Track special set‑ups, guest requests, group and event movements, and highlight them on assignments.
- Monitor all housekeeping, laundry, valet, and engineering service requests, ensuring timely completion.
- Update daily team briefing slideshows for morning and evening housekeeping briefings.
- Check status of stay‑over and arrival rooms, reassign rooms as needed, and alert housekeeping management if rooms cannot be completed by check‑in.
- Manage day services and turndown service, contacting guests with “Do Not Disturb” via Four Seasons Chat, e‑mail, or written notes.
- Follow up on engineering requests from guests and staff, ensuring completion.
- Verify next‑day staffing levels for all housekeeping positions and report shortages or surpluses.
- Conduct weekly inventories of housekeeping supplies, submit purchase orders, and maintain par levels within budget.
- Maintain productivity tracking sheets and house housekeeping projects.
- Update guest profiles in Opera with preferences and service notes.
- Keep the housekeeping office and storage rooms tidy, clean, and organized.
- Comply with Four Seasons Work Rules and Conduct standards.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.
- High School Diploma.
- Prior experience preferred but not required.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
