About the Role

As the Director of Guest Services… This key role will manage our Guest Services Team and work cross-functionally with leadership to do the right thing, to ensure our guests highest expectations are achieved.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train and develop team members to be empowered in their role, and monitor their performance
  • Identify challenges, predict desired outcomes, and avoid unnecessary risk and resources (people, materials, funding, support), to achieve goals
  • Conduct daily stand-up meetings for the Guest Service team on arrivals, departures, groups and VIPs
  • Respond to guest requests timely to ensure that the highest standard of service is delivered in a friendly and personalized manner which encourages them to stay a while.
  • Monitor guest survey scores, requests, and complaints, and assist with issues as deemed vital to provide outstanding service
  • Use guest insights to drive and guide the development of new offerings and recommendations for action
  • Build a positive and motivating work environment that readily adapts personal, interpersonal, and leadership behavior to address challenges appropriately.
  • Provide novel and creative approaches to problem-solving to achieve strategic outcomes.
  • Own the financial spending of the operations as it relates to the established annual budget. Makes recommendations based on data to achieve financial sustainability and ensures effective reporting, forecasting of results in collaboration of Business Management and Ownership.

Qualifications
  • Five + years of working at a hotel/resort in front office supervisory capacity
  • Must have a flexible schedule, 100% open availability including weekends
  • The ability to manage others and be a leader of integrity
