Description
The Beach Attendant ensures a safe, clean, and enjoyable beach experience for members and guests of the Port Royal Club. This role involves maintaining beach facilities, assisting with member needs, and providing exceptional service in a private club setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Greet members and guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements.
- Set up and maintain beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and other amenities.
- Monitor beach area for cleanliness and safety; promptly address hazards.
- Provide food and beverage service on the beach in accordance with club standards.
- Assist members with water sports equipment and ensure proper usage.
- Maintain knowledge of club policies and beach safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Support special beach events and activities as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless experience.
- Previous experience in hospitality or beach service preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
- Will work outdoors and may be exposed to wet and or hot conditions.
