Description

The Beach Attendant ensures a safe, clean, and enjoyable beach experience for members and guests of the Port Royal Club. This role involves maintaining beach facilities, assisting with member needs, and providing exceptional service in a private club setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet members and guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements.
  • Set up and maintain beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and other amenities.
  • Monitor beach area for cleanliness and safety; promptly address hazards.
  • Provide food and beverage service on the beach in accordance with club standards.
  • Assist members with water sports equipment and ensure proper usage.
  • Maintain knowledge of club policies and beach safety guidelines.
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management immediately.
  • Support special beach events and activities as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless experience.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in hospitality or beach service preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment.
  • Will work outdoors and may be exposed to wet and or hot conditions.
