About the RoleThe Food & Beverage Manager is a full-time, exempt leadership position responsible for leading lounge operations in a safe, compliant, and well-controlled environment at Head Pinz and Fast Trax Entertainment Centers across all locations. This role places primary emphasis on responsible alcohol service, guest safety, crowd control, and regulatory compliance while overseeing lounge staff, maintaining service standards, and protecting company assets.
The Food & Beverage Manager ensures the lounge operates as a safe and enjoyable space through consistent policy enforcement and operational discipline.
In addition to lounge leadership, this role supports group functions and high-volume events by assisting kitchen operations as needed. This includes coordinating with culinary leadership during group functions, supporting expo and food flow, and helping ensure timely, accurate execution of group menus to maintain guest experience and operational efficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safety, Alcohol Compliance & Risk Management (Primary Responsibility)- Enforce all federal, state, and local alcohol service laws and company alcohol compliance policies without exception.
- Verify and ensure all lounge staff maintain current alcohol certifications as required.
- Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption to prevent over-service, intoxication, or unsafe situations.
- Exercise authority to refuse service, remove guests, or close lounge areas when safety or compliance is compromised.
- Maintain active crowd control during peak hours to ensure safe guest flow and prevent disorderly conduct.
- Respond to, document, and escalate alcohol-related incidents, guest injuries, or safety concerns.
- Maintain awareness of emergency procedures and lead response efforts within the lounge area as trained.
- Supervise, schedule, train, and coach bartenders, servers, bussers, and lounge support staff.
- Ensure consistent execution of service standards, cleanliness, and professional conduct.
- Oversee opening, shift-change, and closing procedures for lounge operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of lounge seating, bar areas, and service stations.
- Oversee POS operations, cash-handling procedures, and end-of-shift reconciliations.
- Monitor alcohol inventory, glassware, and lounge supplies to prevent loss, theft, or misuse.
- Ensure compliance with pricing, promotions, and service policies.
- Address equipment or facility issues promptly and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Lead by example through visible floor presence, professionalism, and policy enforcement.
- Train staff on alcohol compliance, safety expectations, and guest interaction standards.
- Enforce accountability, corrective action, and discipline in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborate with security, guest services, and management teams to maintain a unified safety approach.
