Rheumatologist Infusion Center; Part-Time

Rheumatologist for new Infusion Center (Part-Time) at Healthcare Network (HCN).

HCN is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) based in Southwest Florida, dedicated to providing quality healthcare to all community members. The rheumatologist will oversee clinical care for patients in the Infusion Center and collaborate with staff to ensure timely access and appropriate billing and payor authorization. This position requires 0.6 to 1.0 FTE.

• Clinically oversee the Infusion Center operations, including supervision of an infusion nurse, prior authorization staff, and billing processes to ensure timely access to infusion services and payor reimbursement.
• Collaborate with other specialists to maintain a high level of clinical excellence.
• Manage a small panel of rheumatology patients as needed.

• Education/Training Level: Minimum of 3-5 years as a practicing provider with an unrestricted medical license.

  Certifications:
  
  State of Florida Medical License;
  Board Certification; CPR with AED per AHA BLS-HCP guidelines or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Bilingual preferred (Spanish, Creole). Must effectively interact with vendors, employees, and patients from diverse backgrounds. Proficient written and verbal communication.
• Technology
  
  Skills:
  
  MS Office 365; EMR systems (Athena One, Athena Practice, Epic, WeInfuse).

Salary: $300,000 per year (pro-rated with 0.6 to 1.0 FTE).
