Part-time Companion Naples

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

We are currently looking for support for a 29-year-old female who needs companionship, general supervision, community outings and promoting her independence. She enjoys swimming, going to the gym, and computer puzzles.

This is an independent contract position and pays $16.00 per hour
.

Schedule:
Sundays 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM can be flexible

• Have a positive outlook and contagious energy
• Demonstrate patience and compassion

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Ensuring individuals safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older
