** Job Description Summary
** Occupational Therapy Assistant provides skilled Occupational Therapy service on an intermittent basis to clients in their homes under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.

**** Responsibilities:**
* ** Patient Care:
** Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
* ** Therapeutic Interventions:
** Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living training, and adaptive equipment training.

Education:

** Educate patients and families on techniques to improve functional skills and independence.
* ** Documentation:
** Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.

* Collaboration:

** Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* ** Infection Control:
** Adhere to strict infection control guidelines to protect both patients and healthcare workers.
** Requirements:**
* ** Certification:
** Current and valid Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) license in the state of Florida.
* *
* Experience:

** Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience as an OTA, preferably in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab setting.
* *
* Skills:

** Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
* ** Professionalism:
** Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality care.

** Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.
